Register for Classes

If you wish to enroll in a class which has begun, you are welcome to do so. Don't wait until the next session; our instructors welcome your participation at any time. Please call beforehand to let us know you're joining the class, then complete registration before class. Fee will be prorated for classes missed.

Registration

There are three ways to register for a class at Athena:

By Mail

Enclose check or money order, or fill in credit card information.

By Phone

With Visa, MasterCard, or Discover, you may register by calling Athena Center at 773/881-3124 during registration hours:

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 5:00-7:00 pm
Saturday, 9:00-12:00 pm

You may also leave your telephone number and best time to call on our voicemail, and a registration worker will call you back.

In Person

Register in person at Athena during the registration hours listed above.

Refund Policy

Refunds are granted if notification is received more than five days prior to the beginning of a class or workshop; tuition is refunded minus $5 charge for processing. Should an emergency occur and you find yourself unable to attend a workshop or class, please provide information about the circumstances in writing to Athena. You may be granted a credit towards other programs if circumstances warrant. No credit or refund is given for classes missed during a session.

Cancelled and Rescheduled Classes

Should a class be cancelled due to instructor emergency, a substitute teacher will be provided, or the class will be rescheduled. If a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, your entire registration will be refunded. We reserve the right to deny entry to anyone.
